Internet Marketing Trip

I want to come back a bit on what I said on my last post about Russel Brunson Micro Continuity launch,  product launch in general, and pre-launch too, and some other things. It triggered some thoughts and I think I could share those with you. (I said in last post I’m busy but I wanted to write this, hey I don’t post that frequently ! Do you thinkg I’m starting to become a real blogger ?)

Some time ago (weeks, months…) I wouldn’t opt-in to any pre-launch squeeze page, thinking that “why bother, I will not buy it anyway”. Then I’ve found that some concepts were interesting, even though I knew they were not for me at this time. The question you need to ask yourself : will it teach me something ? Will it have some value, now or later ?

It seems that one of the principle some experts are following to have you opt-in is to give away free stuff, sometimes you don’t even have to opt-in to at least see their first video which is “awesome”. You of course want to know more.

Let’s take the example of Micro Continuity.

So yes of course you have to opt-in, so what ? You’re not going to get charged for that. You’re going to get few emails alerting you there are some new stuff you need to have a look to.

You’re going to get value for your time. If you are already successful with membership sites then you may just learn few things but for those who don’t know this stuff, this is real value. This is something you like to watch and take notes, so even if you don’t buy anything from Russell later (he will give away the program as a mp3 anyway) you still have a process, the knowledge, you still know how it works and then do some research by yourself and make it work your own way.

This is what I do now when I hear about a launch. I go to the website and watch their videos on the squeeze page. Some guys give you their entire process, or some tricks that you can immediately use. They actually don’t tell you all the tools and resources, for example their membership software, their automated social bookmarking software, where they outsource content writing. But they DO tell you what they do.

You may not always get the “how”, but you get the “what”. Then a bit of research and efforts and you can actually do it by yourself. It may take longer find out all the tricks, but you know what to do. And if you are really interested and want to comepletely know the real deal, then you can buy their stuff. But, if it’s something you plan to do later, for me it would be PPC, then I would watch and take notes of a few things.

Same goes for their sales letters. They may or may not have a video on their sales letters, but you could carefully listen and read to spot the words they use to turn you on buying mode. This is a process you can then use in the future for your own product sales letter and pre-launch and launch.

Cool video training #1 -> opt-in for free video training #2 -> autoresponder submit links to video #2 which is on a blog (people can comment) -> You know what people wants to know with their comment -> blog post (with or without video) -> and so on until launch, your sales letter will sum up everything, and have answers to all the major questions people may have about your product, and may have the style of a $10,000 sales copy.

A bit simple but well, it works like this. You can even do this kind of things as an affiliate : video review of a product -> opt-in for case study -> case study + blog posts with affiliate links + autoresponder that delivers promo emails.

Again, not detailed but can’t you do some research and learn that to get a review copy you can simply ask the merchant, the video review can be made with some screencapture video software (the best one being Camtasia), and that the opt-in/autoresponder stuff can be handled by Aweber ?

You know sometimes you get some promo launch emails for products that don’t add value, or don’t teach you new things. You just wasted your time.

That’s not the case here. I’m not into membership site, but may give it a shot in a few months. I also feel that if you want to start something, even if you are told to see the big picture, you should start small and then expand. Micro Continuity is teaching how to make money with mini membership site, and this is a proven way to make money online.

I’m busy, really busy. I am on some promotion right now for some products and don’t have time to post here, but since there are launch every week I also got some emails telling me I should check few things out. Does it happen to you too ?

So today’s post is about Russel Brunson’s Micro Continuity program, that will launch in 5 days, Tuesday 23rd.

There are some really nice and refreshing free video training to watch. 90 minutes in total.

Well actually, I’m not just telling you about it for this only video, there is another video that will teach you how to give away 1 cd per day. Russell Brunson is the guy who made the “Do you suck at making money” website, few months ago. It was about how to make money giving away free stuff, so I guess this second video (haven’t watched it yet), is about that.

And then he gives you some other links to some of his other websites where there are more free training video and presentations he did at seminars. That’s truly cool, that’s free.

What would you have to pay for ? You will get a free mp3 player (just pay shipping), preloaded with the Micro Continuity program. 6 hours of audio training, the same content that others paid $2500 in March. It was limited to 50 members, and sold out in… 1 min 47 seconds.

Oh yeah, and you may not know about it but Russel was a wrestler when he was younger. It has nothing to do with Internet Marketing but… well maybe a bit.

Well, I don’t know why I bought Money Siphon System, but I did. I told myself I shouldn’t buy more info product since I finish my current projects… Certainly the $4.95 trial that hooked me. By the way I received an email by Jonny Andrews about the end of this trial offer, it should already be ended but it seems you can still get it.

Anyway, I also bought it for some other reasons. The one I want to mention now is because Jonny Andrews tell you about inforproduct you can promote as an affiliate that pay instant commission. Not in 15, 30 or 60 days but just after people you refered made a purchase.

This is a technique that I actually knew before, but really never thought of. And Jonny tells you where to find these offers. So for a $4.95  7 day trial (then $72, one time no monthly fee) I think this was worth mentionning.

You may want to know that the products that pay instant commissions are not just paying you pennies. I’ve found few that pay $37 or $47 to your PayPal account. But this is only one part of the course, there are many more things to learn.

I got an email from Jason Moffatt, the creator of Easy Video Sales, and I thought you might want to know about it. Well Jason plans to take Video Hijacker website down. At least you will not be able to order it on its own website, Jason plans to put all of his products in one bigger portal. Video Hijacker website will “self destruct” (in Jason’s words) Tuesday, yep, today. It is the video marketing and core course of Easy Video Sales, that will also go in that portal too.

I don’t know if that means J-Mo will now offer a membership site ir if you will have to pay big bucks for a bigger package or anything else, but everything will be centralized in one place. Affiliate links will also redirect to this new site.

Jason aksi has a new product that should be released soon, about social media, particularly Twitter that earned him some big income. (Want a confidence : I have no Twitter account, really).

Yesterday I mentionned how changing a WordPress theme that was completely broken in Internet Explorer killed my commissions, since most of the visitors I got to my website couldn’t see the content properly. That was a design problem. Today I want to mention a copywriting tip that many people who have been for some time doing some sales and marketing already know well, but that many people tend to forget, or simply don’t know if they’re just starting out.

The famous tip is “sell the benefits, not the features“. I have to say that, what inspired this post, is not just the fact that I am currently examining all my most profitable websites to apply this tip, but a reminder that I got from Jeremey Schoemaker (Shoemoney.com), from his post : Selling Results. Read it, it’s very short and you’ll get the point immediately.

So, as I said, many people doing internet marketing know this, like I do, but that was a great reminder. How many websites have you built talking about the features instead of the results ? I know there are some of mine on which I didn’t apply this rule.

So the tip here is to sell the results. The Shoemoney post gives you example. If you are a merchant or an affiliate don’t just say how great a product is, focus on the customer and the benefits he/she gets from using it.

As a follow up to my post about the free CPA Marketing report by Gauher Chaudhry, I’m posting today to tell you Gauher added some videos in the member area (you will find these with the CPA marketing report).

I purchased Niche Blueprint just when it launched, this was a package I wanted to grab when they launched the first time, but I hesistated a bit and then they sold out in 36 hours. Between their two launches I have been busy on other projects and websites, and I’m still busy with these, but at least I wanted to secure my seat. A seat that cost me $497…

I have received few emails from some big names. I have to say I didn’t really read their email, I was only concerned by the product as I knew it would be a good asset, and it is actually different from what I’m currently doing (affiliate marketing). And I have to admit that I didn’t read the salespage neither.

Is it so good that I had to rush for it ?

I strongly believe it is. I just bought this, so I can’t recommend you just like I was using this for months. In the intro video, Tim Godfrey says this course is not a race, and to fully use it it would take few weeks. Bad news : they are closing the doors in 5 days.

The guys behind this product are the creators of the Commission Blueprint course that shows you (videos) how to make money online using AdWords and ClickBank. You certainly have heard about it, it is certainly still in the top listings at ClickBank. Niche Blueprint is totally different, it is not about affiliate program, and PPC.

It is about e-commerce, where you sell physical products. But you don’t need to have your own products, you will sell products from suppliers, and you will even not need any space to store everything. I’ve not been into details of that course, but I guess this is the business model many eBay powersellers use : selling products from dropshippers. These companies are wholesalers that allow you to sell their products before you buy them. The wholesaler will ship the products for you using your details on invoice and labels.

It doesn’t require any budget,  They claim you don’t need any budget, email list, products, webdesign and copywriting skill. They provide tons of resources, from what I see in the member area, there are 9 modules that go through introducing the course, setting up your website, finding the suppliers, getting traffic and sales, etc. Nice module : outsourcing !

The last module shows you how to flip your website for 12-18 times the monthly profit. There are videos and manuals to download for each module (you can also watch the videos online if you want). And each module gives you the tools you have to use.

They also included few bonuses, I think they didn’t advertise these. I won’t reveal them all, but there is the Affiliate Extreme System by Mark Ling. This course is selling for $197, nice free one.

Another thing that we should mention is the support. It may be a bit scary to dive in e-commerce without knowing much but they have great support, they claim to have the best in the industry. Well to know who is the best we would have to purchase everything and submit support requests all day long. However they are experts and have some more experts in their team to handle many issues. I am not from the US, and if you have watched the pre-launch videos, they talked about that. You can still market to the US, or outside, and they can help you find suppliers if you want to market in your local country. And they have made everything possible so you can get paid, either via PayPal or other credit card payment processing companies.

So yes it is too soon for me to say this system has been profitable for me, however I am sure it will. And it will be profitable for you. This is a real business model, YOU SELL stuff. Niche Blueprint is very valuable as it is something totally different that answer another demand. There are people who want to make money online, but don’t necessarily want to take the affiliate road. This is a safe business model too, remember you will buy the products after you have sold them, and no inventory stock !

Now I understand $497 is not cheap, but it includes a total business and all the tools required to generate money from niche stores. They provide a split payment option : 2 x $277. I think it is fair.

I’ve read somewhere that it would be the second and last time they launch it. Don’t know if it’s true, but doors are open for 5 days, or less if they sell out early.

It would not be honest from me to claim that I HIGHLY recommend you get Niche Blueprint since I just got it one hour and a half ago, but… I highly recommend you do.

In the last post I mentionned that I used a bit of video marketing since I joined Easy Video Sales, the course created by Jason Moffatt. Now, the main course, I should say the main tutorial that is inside Easy Video Sales is the Video Hijacker video course. These are extremely simple techniques to make videos and use videos at YouTube to generate traffic and sales.

Why do I say that ? Well, Easy Video Sales is $397, Video Hijacker is $77.

Of course, Easy Video Sales comes with more stuff, there is a video serie with Frank Kern, a course about copywriting so you can learn how to create sales letters, audio resources, ebooks, softwares… But Video Hijacker is certainly all you need to get started with simple video marketing that works. Jason also re-did the Video Hijacker but you will have access to the 1st version too, as well as the Mastermind group, where you can exchange ideas with others (or take theirs).

In a later post I’ll have to detail all you get with Easy Video Sales, but for now, Video Hijacker is certainly more than enough for anyone.

It’s been a while since I didn’t post here, my last one was “Happy New Year”. So, 2 months later I may have a few things to say. I think I will not be able to tell you everything I’ve done in one post now, but I promise that the very next days and posts will be more detailed and, I hope, informative. I think I’ll also write a post on “what I’ve learnt since I started Internet Marketing”.

What I’ve done ?

Principally, I’ve used the Conduit Method, by Chris Rempel to build and markets few websites. This is something I already mentioned here, I know, but this can’t hurt to tell you again how simple and profitable this is.And again the Chris Rempel’s VIP reports are cheap and can immediately be put into action. Now, just a tip, if after you buy one of his VIP reports you get an upsell that allows you to get all others VIP reports, even the ones that are not released yet, then take this opportunity.

(I don’t want to sound like I’m hard selling, but if you are looking for simple and smart ways to make money online, then I hugely recommend you buy Chris Rempel stuff, at least take the Conduit Method, it’s only $14.95.)

There was a comment recently on this blog about Chris Rempel stuff I promote, someone said it was good to say a product is good but you have to use it. I replied that I am using it and am making money with this. I’ve always wondered if I should add screenshots of some affiliate networks accounts to show proof. I’ve always thought there will be people who say you edited your pictures with Photoshop, or you’re just bragging about your earnings. Also I am not sure it helps anyone to show a screenshot.

Plus, by outsourcing few tasks like article writing I’ve been able to do much more things. My productivity increased and speaking of this…

Productivity

I’ve joined the Wake Up Productive program by Eben Pagan. By the name you have guessed this course teach you how to be more productive. This is a good course that is spread on 12 weeks. It’s $297, and currently closed. It was opened for a very short time at the end of december, or maybe start of January.

However, just after I joined, I downloaded a free interview Jazon Katzenback (aka JohnCow.com) did with Mark Joyner. Mark Joyner is a big name in the Internet Marketing industry. The report was about planning in 2009. And (I’m sure many of you already know this website), I discovered Simpleology. Believe it or not, I didn’t know about this website 3 months ago, but this is an extremely high value resource.

Simpleology 101, the simple science of getting what you want. Create an account there, it is free. You’ll get a full course on productivity and how to manage your time better and get many more things done. And you know what ? I prefer the Simpleology website than the Wake Up Productive course. Why ? There is a community forum, support, and tons of free resources, and a lesson (video, ebook to print, audio) to learn and practice everyday. With Wake Up Productive, you have one lesson (video too) each week (12 weeks) to practice and integrate to your routine. The only way to communicate with others is via comments, just like any other blog

Don’t get me wrong, Wake Up Productive is very good too, Eben style is great and there is a high value in it that’s what I stayed in this program too, but I guess this is better to take these kind of programs one by one, and not at the same time.

Since Mark Joyner is an internet marketer too, be prepared to receive some emails that promotes many of his products. However, you will receive more free stuff from Simpleology, you don’t have to buy anything more if you don’t want too. But I suggest you keep the emails he sends you, because when he offers something this is at a discounted price, if you then want to buy it from Simpleology you may not get this same discount.

Now something that you MUST read too : I got an email for one of his book : Mind Control Marketing. The email said that this book was so big that he had to stop selling it. And people started to resell their version on Amazon Marketplace or eBay for something like $500. I didn’t believe it really, so I checked Amazon and eBay, and searched for Mind Control Marketing. And indeed, this is the case. But you can now get the ebook version for only $27 if you create an account with Simpleology.

As for the free resources I mentioned, these are the ebook version of his bestsellers “The Irresistible Offer” or “The Great Formula”, still selling well at Amazon.

Damn I’m not even getting paid for telling you about this ! There is something inside Simplology 102, the simple science of money ($97 but you’ll get an offer to have it free with another product that you can try for $1, I did), and this is about “Word of Mouth”, that is the most powerful marketing model for your business.

Thinking about creating my own product

I don’t know really if it will be about Internet Marketing or launching online business, if I’ll write it in French or English and many other things. I’ve signed up for an InfoMillionaire membership, this is a course by Frank Kern, and a good one. Basically, you send traffic to a squeeze page that redirects to an affiliate program. You then create your own product, and market it to the list you just built. You need to create a product that is better than the one you are promoting, and of course you now have a targeted list to market to.

I don’t know if I will stay in the InfoMillionaire membership, I have received 2 monthly issues for now. This is very good yes, but I know there are other courses that can teach you how to create your own product and how to build your list. And oh, the 2 last Chris Rempel VIP reports are The Rapid List Profit Formula, and the 24 Hour Hot Product Formula.

The 24 Hour Hot Product Formula hast just been released, it is live from yesterday. I didn’t have time to read it, but I can tell you it’s 28 pages, and that this is the method Chris Rempel used to create $76k in December 2008. What he says is that Affiliate Marketing is great, no inventory, no customer support, but then you have all the promotion and traffic generation work to do. Creating your own product can be done in 24 hours, and doesn’t take that much effort, even less than being an affiliate. And all the promotion and traffic generation is done by… affiliates. When I will have read it I’ll provide a review as always.

Video Marketing

I joined Easy Video Sales few months ago, a course created by Jason Moffatt, and thus have started a bit of video marketing. Video websites receive high traffic and why not have some more exposure for your websites ? So I have made a few videos for some offers but I was concerned by getting more traffic, not just YouTube.

I have tried Video Post Robot, a software that automates your video submission to 18 video websites. It used to be more but some repeated bugs lead the team to remove some. Is it good ? Well, yes it is. How much ? $197. I said I tried, this means I asked for a refund. Now I’m wondering if I shouldn’t really have to stay with it.

I wanted a refund because it always failed to upload to YouTube (and Yahoo Videos and MSN). I’ve checked many times my settings and “Status = Failed”. YouTube being the BIG one, I thought it was really bad if it can’t upload there. But actually, it would have been only 3 websites where I would have to upload manually. Anyway, I think you should check it out for yourself, and don’t worry, you have 30 days to try it, if you want a refund you just ask the customer service team and they are very friendly.

Maybe you will have more success with your uploads, there are other automation softwares I want to try. When you need to get more things done you need to automate some parts of your business, and you either do it by outsourcing or use the tools that can do it automatically.
