Hey,

Did you assist to the webinar yesterday ? I did, I had to stay up a bit late because of my different time zone. Anyway that was some good stuff  delivered in this Information Marketing Mastery webinar by Brian McElroy. I have to admit I was a bit late and missed the method number one, but if I’m correct Brian should send the slides of the webinar to the people there. If someone can second this that would be cool, I’ll update this post.

I’m not going to detail everything, just what you can do to create your own info product with some personal thoughts in the end :

Method 1 (update) : Brain Transplant (fastest and easiest, cheapest way : your own knowledge)

Method 2 was : Teleminar series

Method 3 was : Hire an expert

Method 4 was : The McElroy Method. which actually is what he does, and what he will do for Information Marketing Mastery… Yes, that’s live coaching programs. One cool aspect of this is that you get paid before creating the product. People register first and few days later you will make the live training webinar.

It’s actually strange to think it as a product, since you don’t have an ebook or videos to send or to make available for download. At least not yet ! You can still transform your webinar into video home study course later, then transcript in pdf…

Okay so here are my thoughts on this. That it doesn’t look that hard to do this kind of live training. Actually, Brian says in the free report and videos that you will fail, and even that you MUST fail as fast as possible. Of course with maybe only 10 to 15 customers. So even if you’re not an expert you can ask one to talk about his stuff and split the profit. You are the marketing guy, the expert can be a fitness coach. You do the marketing and setup the webinar, he gives a presentation and answers the questions.

So to host webinar, I remember DimDim was mentioned in a webinar Keith Wellman did. I’ve posted about this, so to remind it to you DimDim is FREE for 20 persons in the webinar, then $19 per month for 5O persons, and can host upto 1000 persons (you need to contact them for the price). So you can make you first webinar completely free to join to test the water, so if you fail and people don’t like it that’s not that bad. Then If you make a webinar at $100 for each 20 participants, you make $2000 profit. Webinar are often between 1 and 2 hours, not bad.

Also to know exactly what to give to the participants, at the time they register, ask them to send you the questions they would like answered during the webinar. This way you have time to get a full presentation.

It’s 16 minutes, not too long (cool), so go watch it.

The video starts with… frustration. Actually how everything we are supposed to learn to make it online, leads to frustration instead of success. But of course Brian shows you the right way. He’ll show you his notes on his big board, and I encourage you to reproduce this. I did.

To sum up a bit, instead of going from learning something to another thing ans so on, just create your offer FIRST and you will learn everything in the process (traffic, JV, videos, list building…). Then work one your offer and make it as best as you can. You may fail, certainly, but it will not be that bad. You’ll just going to get better and better, and (l)earn more and more.

I know it sounds too simple, but there’s something you need to change about your mindset. I like how Brian presents things. It’s like doing everything in the opposite way, not a hard way. Watch the video, it’s really cool and will open your eyes on many more things.

Yes, I wasn’t a member of the Warrior Forum until today, I always only read the threads and got infos. I think I didn’t participate to forums for quite a long time now. I’m a member of Digital Point too but there’s been some times that I didn’t login there too.

I think forums are great places. Certainly where you can get most of your free training and informations online. This is something you must do at the beginning but then, once you know few things, you must take action and do something. Learning is great but nothing is going to be done if you just learn.

Anyway, inside the Warrior Forum, which is free to join, there is a private forum, called the War Room. It costs $37 to join.

A sub-forum actually. I immediately joined this too. I knew it was good. I’ve read reviews in the past, and I can highly recommend you join this place too. You’ll pay $37 once, that’s not a monthly subscription, it’s a one time fee. And it’s worth it, even more.

There are many great minds there, many internet marketers that give their best stuff for free. It’s a place to share your best ideas, but many are just giving away some of their products that are listed on Clickbank or elsewhere.
