Wow, my 3rd post in 2 days, amazing… and I still not consider myself as a blogger. Anyway I’m still an internet marketer and so today I’d post about making money online, this time with membership sites. I have a cool offer to introduce to you.

Hey, have you watched Easy Sales Formula webinar replay yesterday ? It’s no more playing now, so I’ll tell you few things that I noted when I watched it live.

Currently Keith Wellman is showing $5,000,000 of case studies as proof that his techniques work. You can watch the video here.

There is no need to optin this time to see it, but you may want to do so if you want to see the step by step free Video Skinning training. You really must see it, Keith truly shows you step by step something that you can do right now and that makes money, no catch, and there’s an mp3 interview with Mike Filsaime to download too.

So from the webinar, the Internet Marketers guests who were at Keith’s house mentioned few things. I’m typing that from memory as I can’t find my txt file where I put my notes.

So is the Video Skinning technique cookie stuffing and potentially get you banned from Clickbank (because you sue an iframe on your page to set the Clickbank cookie) ?
That was a concern for me too. Keith answered that “No” (and actually he’s not banned from Clickbank so that should be enough proof). First, the method implies you ask the merchant permission, and then he explained that you CAN NOT frame the Clickbank service, but in this case you frame the merchant product (or something like that this was very fast). It’s not like you’re setting hundreds of cookies from the same page which could you get banned.

Frank Sousa from Traffic Geyzer talked about Google analyzing videos to know what these are really about. They actually have some automatic Text-to-speech scripts they use to spot keywords. He says that was something on the Google blog. He then explained that, just like an article, if a video with relevant keywords in it (the audio part actually) will get traffic and rank better for those keywords. I didn’t know about that and haven’t checked for now, but that’s great knowledge.

Frank also tells something that was already mentioned when Traffic Geyzer launched if I remember well. This was a technique to get traffic using video only. If you have a product, or as an affiliate, you can make a short video answering one question on the niche/topic/subject/problem the product is solving or treating. You would do this for 10 or 20 questions. You now have 10 to 20 targeted videos that you can submit to any video sites. In your videos you of course mention your website, or link. Always add your url in the video description box too.

Joe Lavery talked about the coolest keyword tool for PPC, Keyword Rockstar. I didn’t hear about it until then. Looks awesome, $97 a month. I’m not into PPC now, but I can see the power of it. There are many similar stuff that has been released in the past months so this must be worth it. The way Joe introduced it made it a must-have.

Keith told about some of his secret weapons to drive traffic. And nope, that’s not SEO, not PPC, not video marketing. His first one is Ezine ads. Later Matt Bacak talked about http://www.ezines-r-us.com. Here’s how ezine advertising works. This is some email marketing, but in this case you are not using your list. You buy an ad that will be mailed by other companies or marketers who have their own a list. This have a cost but this can be certainly effective, the most recommended type is “targeted solo ads” where only your ad is sent in the email.

The second Keith’s secret weapon is… banner advertising. As Keith explained it lost popularity when some webmasters were putting thousands of ads on the same page and that wasn’t effective at all. But you can actually advertise on blogs or websites related to your niche (your competitors). A tip he gave : create a banner that will match the website you advertise on (like you’d do with adsense). His banner would say : free report for every readers, click here. Smart !

I didn’t find my little txt file, but this morning I remembered about 2 tools and saw Joe Lavery left a comment, so here are the last things (I think) that were discussed during Keith Wellman Easy Sales Formula webinar.

Joe Lavery’s Response Dynamite future workshop. You can currently watch a 31 minutes video explaining what it’s all about. This is a live event, $497 (the video first says $997). Live events are usually more (like 5 times more expensive), but you’ll get the manual and training in your email to read before you go to the workshop. He talked about it during the webinar, and his $0.03 click cpampaign, with 21,000 clicks a day… Reponse Dynamite is defined as “Ultra advanced advertising, testing and conversion tactics for 2009″.

Mosso is what Keith uses to host all of his videos. You can actually host all your medias that you want to share with others. There are several plans, but for hosting files only, you just have to choose the “Cloud Files” and that’s super cheap ! You pay for the bandwidth use, and that’s only 0,15c per GB ! You can estimate your costs, but since you can make little video presentations in flash (flv files) that are really light weight you may only pay pennies ! The link either redirect to the Mosso domain (was the case 2 days ago) or RackSpace (today as I type this), the mother company, but you’ll find the same plans anyway. That’s certainly a great additional resource to cheap hosting.

DimDim. I don’t remember who mentioned it, but this is a web conference software. There is a free version to make conference with 20 attendees, and pro version that starts at $19 a month ($228 yearly). Could be cool if you want to make few webinars during the year, for a limited group of members. If you choose the paid version, you can pay as you go, so if you only plan 1 seminar in the year you’d pay just $25. There is an Enterprise version too for upto 1000 persons.

Well, you are smart, and I think you can certainly see the value of this program. And since there are only 2000 copies available (and only about 800 left), you should already be there :

In my last 2 or 3 posts I’ve been recommending you to check some free stuff that are giving you a lot of value and knowledge you can implement in your business very fast. Today, I’m going to recommend you something you may want to pay for.

Still you could certainly think about how to add this new business to your income source, as the salespage already tell you a bunch of tricks and tips. I want you to have a look at SEM Business Blueprint, by Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey. SEM stands for Search Engine Marketing if you ask.

Why is this my recommendation of the day ? Well, I have two of their previous products (Commission Blueprint and Niche Blueprint), and I can tell you they deliver. They truly give a blueprint, and even more. It’s kind of copy and paste, no guess work, you even get some ready made material so you can get started right away. Their support also rocks.

You can offer are SEO and PPC services to your clients. I’m sure you can do it for offline businesses as well. There are so many business out there that don’t have a clue about internet marketing. Just customize it with your own details and you’re set to get orders (these sites are live, you can visit it and see exactly what they offer !)

And there is not so much work involved, when ou think about it. They have some case studies to show you, and actually make $100,000 a year with only 10 customers ! This is great because you don’t have thousands of orders to manage. With only 10 (even 5 !) clients, you can not be overwhelmed by support tickets.

Also, you may know that tons of internet marketing tasks can be outsourced. That’s what is very powerful with the SEM Business Blueprint. Indeed, you don’t have to be the one who does the hard work. There are people online who are very skilled to write and submit tons of articles every months, some others who are great designers. Once you know about your clients, you can tell your team what you want them to do for you.

Some more thoughts come to my mind… Even if you don’t offer your services other business, you could learn how to do it with your own ! This has been made even for beginners so you can instantly be in business. If you get clients who pay you every month, that’s great, you wouldn’t have to attract more business. But if they only want your service once, that’s fine too. 10 customers can already bring you $10,000 or more. That means that you could also offer one-time services, for one month, for three months, for one week… and still get paid a lot.

I want to come back a bit on what I said on my last post about Russel Brunson Micro Continuity launch,  product launch in general, and pre-launch too, and some other things. It triggered some thoughts and I think I could share those with you. (I said in last post I’m busy but I wanted to write this, hey I don’t post that frequently ! Do you thinkg I’m starting to become a real blogger ?)

Some time ago (weeks, months…) I wouldn’t opt-in to any pre-launch squeeze page, thinking that “why bother, I will not buy it anyway”. Then I’ve found that some concepts were interesting, even though I knew they were not for me at this time. The question you need to ask yourself : will it teach me something ? Will it have some value, now or later ?

It seems that one of the principle some experts are following to have you opt-in is to give away free stuff, sometimes you don’t even have to opt-in to at least see their first video which is “awesome”. You of course want to know more.

Let’s take the example of Micro Continuity.

So yes of course you have to opt-in, so what ? You’re not going to get charged for that. You’re going to get few emails alerting you there are some new stuff you need to have a look to.

You’re going to get value for your time. If you are already successful with membership sites then you may just learn few things but for those who don’t know this stuff, this is real value. This is something you like to watch and take notes, so even if you don’t buy anything from Russell later (he will give away the program as a mp3 anyway) you still have a process, the knowledge, you still know how it works and then do some research by yourself and make it work your own way.

This is what I do now when I hear about a launch. I go to the website and watch their videos on the squeeze page. Some guys give you their entire process, or some tricks that you can immediately use. They actually don’t tell you all the tools and resources, for example their membership software, their automated social bookmarking software, where they outsource content writing. But they DO tell you what they do.

You may not always get the “how”, but you get the “what”. Then a bit of research and efforts and you can actually do it by yourself. It may take longer find out all the tricks, but you know what to do. And if you are really interested and want to comepletely know the real deal, then you can buy their stuff. But, if it’s something you plan to do later, for me it would be PPC, then I would watch and take notes of a few things.

Same goes for their sales letters. They may or may not have a video on their sales letters, but you could carefully listen and read to spot the words they use to turn you on buying mode. This is a process you can then use in the future for your own product sales letter and pre-launch and launch.

Cool video training #1 -> opt-in for free video training #2 -> autoresponder submit links to video #2 which is on a blog (people can comment) -> You know what people wants to know with their comment -> blog post (with or without video) -> and so on until launch, your sales letter will sum up everything, and have answers to all the major questions people may have about your product, and may have the style of a $10,000 sales copy.

A bit simple but well, it works like this. You can even do this kind of things as an affiliate : video review of a product -> opt-in for case study -> case study + blog posts with affiliate links + autoresponder that delivers promo emails.

Again, not detailed but can’t you do some research and learn that to get a review copy you can simply ask the merchant, the video review can be made with some screencapture video software (the best one being Camtasia), and that the opt-in/autoresponder stuff can be handled by Aweber ?

You know sometimes you get some promo launch emails for products that don’t add value, or don’t teach you new things. You just wasted your time.

That’s not the case here. I’m not into membership site, but may give it a shot in a few months. I also feel that if you want to start something, even if you are told to see the big picture, you should start small and then expand. Micro Continuity is teaching how to make money with mini membership site, and this is a proven way to make money online.
