Keith Wellman, will launch a new product called “Easy Sales Formula“. He’s made a short video to explain what it is about, and I highly recommend you watch it.

Imagine this scenario : you are an affiliate promoting a great product, you sent quite a lot of traffic, but the sales letter doesn’t seem to convert. So, it would be cool if you could do a video then directly send your traffic to the order page, SKIPPING the sales letter !

As an affiliate, this is a great opportunity. This can benefit many of us. So you can use this technique. Keith Wellman called it Video Skinning.

If you have your own product, then it certainly works too, and great for split testing. You could have your sales letter, and have another page with video where you drive visitors.

This is actually very simple to do. You don’t have to be in front of your camera, screen capture software and a mic are well enough. I’ve already done a video the same way, I didn’t really liked the sound of my voice when I re-listened to it but when you think about it, I’m sure this is the case for many others. A lot of people online don’t know you personally and for anyone who hear your voice, you sound normal. This is just for ourself that you may think “is this my real voice ?”. I guess with time you really don’t care, you do a quick video, upload it and drive traffic. As long as cash comes in, your voice is certainly geat

He tested his technique with a Clickbank product and saw a 1000% conversion increase driving people from his video to an order page, instead of the sales letter. With less traffic ! Cool right ?

What’s even cooler too is that it works with any advertising method, free or paid. I mean, what you only need is to put a video on a page, then drive traffic to it in any way you want. The purpose is to get your visitors directly to the order page.

My last post was about product launches exposing their process, you would then just do some research and find out how you can do it yourself. Well Keith also gives you his process, hey that’s free affiliate video training ! And you can instantly put that into action.

You (of course) have to optin to see more videos about this but again, totally free and you will learn more cool stuff. Keith will actually show you step by step how you to do it, case studies, and more stuff (second part is about an hour long I think).

I want to come back a bit on what I said on my last post about Russel Brunson Micro Continuity launch,  product launch in general, and pre-launch too, and some other things. It triggered some thoughts and I think I could share those with you. (I said in last post I’m busy but I wanted to write this, hey I don’t post that frequently ! Do you thinkg I’m starting to become a real blogger ?)

Some time ago (weeks, months…) I wouldn’t opt-in to any pre-launch squeeze page, thinking that “why bother, I will not buy it anyway”. Then I’ve found that some concepts were interesting, even though I knew they were not for me at this time. The question you need to ask yourself : will it teach me something ? Will it have some value, now or later ?

It seems that one of the principle some experts are following to have you opt-in is to give away free stuff, sometimes you don’t even have to opt-in to at least see their first video which is “awesome”. You of course want to know more.

Let’s take the example of Micro Continuity.

So yes of course you have to opt-in, so what ? You’re not going to get charged for that. You’re going to get few emails alerting you there are some new stuff you need to have a look to.

You’re going to get value for your time. If you are already successful with membership sites then you may just learn few things but for those who don’t know this stuff, this is real value. This is something you like to watch and take notes, so even if you don’t buy anything from Russell later (he will give away the program as a mp3 anyway) you still have a process, the knowledge, you still know how it works and then do some research by yourself and make it work your own way.

This is what I do now when I hear about a launch. I go to the website and watch their videos on the squeeze page. Some guys give you their entire process, or some tricks that you can immediately use. They actually don’t tell you all the tools and resources, for example their membership software, their automated social bookmarking software, where they outsource content writing. But they DO tell you what they do.

You may not always get the “how”, but you get the “what”. Then a bit of research and efforts and you can actually do it by yourself. It may take longer find out all the tricks, but you know what to do. And if you are really interested and want to comepletely know the real deal, then you can buy their stuff. But, if it’s something you plan to do later, for me it would be PPC, then I would watch and take notes of a few things.

Same goes for their sales letters. They may or may not have a video on their sales letters, but you could carefully listen and read to spot the words they use to turn you on buying mode. This is a process you can then use in the future for your own product sales letter and pre-launch and launch.

Cool video training #1 -> opt-in for free video training #2 -> autoresponder submit links to video #2 which is on a blog (people can comment) -> You know what people wants to know with their comment -> blog post (with or without video) -> and so on until launch, your sales letter will sum up everything, and have answers to all the major questions people may have about your product, and may have the style of a $10,000 sales copy.

A bit simple but well, it works like this. You can even do this kind of things as an affiliate : video review of a product -> opt-in for case study -> case study + blog posts with affiliate links + autoresponder that delivers promo emails.

Again, not detailed but can’t you do some research and learn that to get a review copy you can simply ask the merchant, the video review can be made with some screencapture video software (the best one being Camtasia), and that the opt-in/autoresponder stuff can be handled by Aweber ?

You know sometimes you get some promo launch emails for products that don’t add value, or don’t teach you new things. You just wasted your time.

That’s not the case here. I’m not into membership site, but may give it a shot in a few months. I also feel that if you want to start something, even if you are told to see the big picture, you should start small and then expand. Micro Continuity is teaching how to make money with mini membership site, and this is a proven way to make money online.

I’m busy, really busy. I am on some promotion right now for some products and don’t have time to post here, but since there are launch every week I also got some emails telling me I should check few things out. Does it happen to you too ?

So today’s post is about Russel Brunson’s Micro Continuity program, that will launch in 5 days, Tuesday 23rd.

There are some really nice and refreshing free video training to watch. 90 minutes in total.

Well actually, I’m not just telling you about it for this only video, there is another video that will teach you how to give away 1 cd per day. Russell Brunson is the guy who made the “Do you suck at making money” website, few months ago. It was about how to make money giving away free stuff, so I guess this second video (haven’t watched it yet), is about that.

And then he gives you some other links to some of his other websites where there are more free training video and presentations he did at seminars. That’s truly cool, that’s free.

What would you have to pay for ? You will get a free mp3 player (just pay shipping), preloaded with the Micro Continuity program. 6 hours of audio training, the same content that others paid $2500 in March. It was limited to 50 members, and sold out in… 1 min 47 seconds.

Oh yeah, and you may not know about it but Russel was a wrestler when he was younger. It has nothing to do with Internet Marketing but… well maybe a bit.

Well, I don’t know why I bought Money Siphon System, but I did. I told myself I shouldn’t buy more info product since I finish my current projects… Certainly the $4.95 trial that hooked me. By the way I received an email by Jonny Andrews about the end of this trial offer, it should already be ended but it seems you can still get it.

Anyway, I also bought it for some other reasons. The one I want to mention now is because Jonny Andrews tell you about inforproduct you can promote as an affiliate that pay instant commission. Not in 15, 30 or 60 days but just after people you refered made a purchase.

This is a technique that I actually knew before, but really never thought of. And Jonny tells you where to find these offers. So for a $4.95  7 day trial (then $72, one time no monthly fee) I think this was worth mentionning.

You may want to know that the products that pay instant commissions are not just paying you pennies. I’ve found few that pay $37 or $47 to your PayPal account. But this is only one part of the course, there are many more things to learn.

So if you want to check the Money Siphon System and it’s trial offer do it now. There are some cool bonuses too. I’ll make a review later when I’ll have more time (very busy with some other promotions right now).

If you are an affiliate, then building review websites is certainly something you already have heard about, and even been doing for some time. As I already mentioned sometimes here, I build my websites with WordPress. I have even created a little pack of rating stars you can download and use for your reviews on your sites.

But to make things easier, there are some plugins that you can just… plug in to WordPress that let your visitors rate posts or pages. Actually they rate a product or service, and write their review in the comment box. What does that mean ? Well the post to describe the product is written by you, with your affiliate link. But reviews are written for you, by users.

Of course you can write your own in the comments, maybe to have at least one review, if you have used the product yourself. In any case, your post would then only have to describe the product.

The plugins let you rate products on multiple criteria that you define yourself. There are 3 plugins you can use to do this. You should visit their respective site to decide which one is the best for you. There are 2 paid plugins and one free that I have to show you.

• WP Review Site : $97 for one site, $199 for multiple site. You can see how it looks on http://www.awardwinninghosts.com/, where web hosting companies are reviewed. You can define your affiliate links for the keywords, there’s also a widget you can use in the sidebar, so the products listed show the average rating.
• WFReview : $139 and you can install it on unlimited websites. It has more features than the other ones, just see the video on the home page and you’ll see all the things possible. You can automatically generate reviews for example, scrap directories to make automatic posts, define affiliate links for specific keywords…
• GD Star Rating : This is the free one. You are able to use multi rating, and there are also many graphic sets to download. So if you want to rate with hearts or thumbs up instead of stars, just download a set you like. I guess you can even design your own set to use the plugin. You can also add ratings for the comments. There is a widget you can use in the sidebar too. You’ll find tutorials on customization, graphics, widgets… The plugin is free, however the premium support is paid ($25.00 per hour), but with the tutorials you may not have that much problems. Of course you can comment on the GD Star Rating website and the creator will answer your questions.

So if you’d have to go for a paid one, I guess WFReview should be preferred as it is cheaper for a multiple site license use. Both paid ones have a forum support. But GD Star Rating is free and certainly worth a try as it offers what most affiliates need.

I got an email from Jason Moffatt, the creator of Easy Video Sales, and I thought you might want to know about it. Well Jason plans to take Video Hijacker website down. At least you will not be able to order it on its own website, Jason plans to put all of his products in one bigger portal. Video Hijacker website will “self destruct” (in Jason’s words) Tuesday, yep, today. It is the video marketing and core course of Easy Video Sales, that will also go in that portal too.

I don’t know if that means J-Mo will now offer a membership site ir if you will have to pay big bucks for a bigger package or anything else, but everything will be centralized in one place. Affiliate links will also redirect to this new site.

Jason aksi has a new product that should be released soon, about social media, particularly Twitter that earned him some big income. (Want a confidence : I have no Twitter account, really).

Yesterday I mentionned how changing a WordPress theme that was completely broken in Internet Explorer killed my commissions, since most of the visitors I got to my website couldn’t see the content properly. That was a design problem. Today I want to mention a copywriting tip that many people who have been for some time doing some sales and marketing already know well, but that many people tend to forget, or simply don’t know if they’re just starting out.

The famous tip is “sell the benefits, not the features“. I have to say that, what inspired this post, is not just the fact that I am currently examining all my most profitable websites to apply this tip, but a reminder that I got from Jeremey Schoemaker (Shoemoney.com), from his post : Selling Results. Read it, it’s very short and you’ll get the point immediately.

So, as I said, many people doing internet marketing know this, like I do, but that was a great reminder. How many websites have you built talking about the features instead of the results ? I know there are some of mine on which I didn’t apply this rule.

So the tip here is to sell the results. The Shoemoney post gives you example. If you are a merchant or an affiliate don’t just say how great a product is, focus on the customer and the benefits he/she gets from using it.

Hey everyone, hope everyone’s fine. Please accept my apologize if you were waiting for some updates, I was very busy, I have so many ideas in my head and so many posts that I’d like to make that I don’t really know when to post and what to focus on first.

Well, I think you have to focus on what’s working for you and that’s what I was doing. The websites I built with the Conduit Method by Chris Rempel (with the VIP Essentials templates) are doing very good. That’s so cool ! Well that was what I was thinking one month ago. In the beginning of April, the commissions generated by my most profitable website almost stopped.

In March and February, I generated almost consistently one sale a day, from only 25 unique visits. In April my traffic increased, almost doubled, but I can tell you that I only got 9 sales this month, and most of these were done these last 10 days. Why ?

Well, I wanted to change the website layout. I actually build my Conduit websites with WordPress (I know Chris Rempel prefers html templates but if you can tweak your themes that works too.) So I changed my theme, and I was truly convinced that this new one would perform even better. It wasn’t very different, but I had put some more possibility for the visitor to reach the merchant offer. (Possibility = button). Ouch…

During the first 3 weeks I wondered why with an almost similar design I couldn’t get people to click. It was still clean, simple design. And then it hit me : Internet Explorer. I use Firefox as my web browser, and when I logged into my Google Analytics account, I saw that more than 60% of visitors use Internet Explorer. So I opened my Internet Explorer and reach my website, IT WAS COMPLETELY BROKEN. Unreadable, font size too big, the offer not visible, the elements of the layout not at the right place or the right size.

I checked on another computer, same thing. Different verions of Internet Explorer, same thing.

(Edit : writing this post made me think there was certainly something I may have done wrong, I checked and re-checked and re-re checked and finally… I just found out that when tweaking my header.php file I forgot to close a <h2> tag… Damn… back to testing again !)

The bad thing, apart that I lost a lot of click through, is that I put some time and research to tweak the theme to have it look how I wanted. I’m not a web designer, not a coder so when you do this kind of stuff yourself it takes more time, trials and errors your know.

So the tip here is, if you change your WordPress theme, check it in Firefox and Internet Explorer. I put back the theme I was using in first place and sales are coming again. Yesterday, I have then set another theme that is showing well on both Firefox and IE and I made two sales in this one day. But I also added another simple trick. That’s for my next post, tomorrow, promised .

As a follow up to my post about the free CPA Marketing report by Gauher Chaudhry, I’m posting today to tell you Gauher added some videos in the member area (you will find these with the CPA marketing report).

There are now 10 videos, each for one traffic generation technique, and they are completely free too. Even if Gauher Chaudhry report is around CPA marketing, the traffic sources he gives you in the videos will work for any website, any business or any other affiliate program you want to promote.

He talks about paid and free traffic sources, the videos are very short (2 minutes), I appreciate that. 35 minutes videos that tell you things you can learn in 2 minutes have often got me closing my browser or removing my email from a newsletter list. (Yeah yeah, there are some good long videos, sometimes).

Well, the videos will not reveal in exact details how you have to do each thing to get traffic, but every websites you may visit are self explanatory. I mean, you know you can add a resource box when doing article marketing, right ?

If you are completely anti-video, there is also a little report, 7 pages long, that gives you a lot of links where you can market your website for free or with paid traffic generation.

I think I already mentioned it, but in case you missed this, you can get a completely free CPA Marketing ebook, written by Gauher Chaudhry, creator of Pay Per Click Formula.

It will certainly be useful if you want to dive into PPC and promote some CPA offers, if you are already doing it this is not a bad thing to read to, it is a great report that could certainly have been sold. This is 89 pages long, full of rock solid content.

Gauher first introduce CPA Marketing, CPA offers, CPA Networks… And you learn right from the start that you can earn from $0.25 for some email submit to $140 for longer forms. Wow, I know you have to know what to do when you pay for traffic like Google AdWords, but this only line tells you there is great money to be made if you take the time to learn the basics. I guess that if you plan well ahead your campaign and limit your budget you can be profitable quite fast.

Gauher also mentions the tools he uses, free or paid ones, and talks about landing pages. It’s extremely important that your landing page are optimized for Mister Google so your Quality Score allows you lower bid and higher position. But also Landing pages have one main goal : CONVERSION. Converting your traffic into an action, like filling a form, and this action brings you money. I know I’m not giving details, but this is how it is, and I’m not going to detail an eBook that you can get for free and then know everything yourself, right ?

Also, if promoting CPA is generally done with Pay Per Click advertising, Gauher gives here more paid traffic sources but also many FREE traffic sources. Hmmm, it should be then even easier to get profitable !
