@Hazel – I don’t know how you used it, maybe it’s not for you. You say every time, I guess you’ve got many of his stuff. Why do you still purchase from him if it doesn’t work for you ?
I also guess some others will say they had success with this, I know I had when he first showed the video skinning for free, I’ve put few video sites up and it got me sales. Of course I don’t rely on solely one method.
Do you have found something that you know works for you ? If you do, you should expand this, of course there is a lot to say about traffic, conversion, etc. I mainly stick to basics, I have prepared a huge post on the plan I use to build website and get sales, but here’s a condensed version :
I select a product that sells and it gives me the niche (I can then drill into that niche and find more products to promote)
I create content, I also outsource some article writing
I put articles on a new website, and some others to article directories, web 2.0 pages to build backlinks and start getting traffic
Then I got more backlinks and traffic from social bookmarking, rss submission, blog comments. I sometimes create a video (nothing fancy, I do it from an article, so it’s basically a succession of slides) and distribute it to video sharing sites.
I have not yet turned articles to mp3 and distribute to podcast sites but that could be done too.
I may also do some web direcotries submission, these may not so much valuable backlinks but these are backlinks that will count. I outsource this for very cheap, it’s just a way to have more variety in your backlink sources, and show search engines your total number of links is higher than your cometitor’s.
It’s not detailed, I have to put some finishing touches to it to make it as much complete as possible but that’s my plan, it works for me. My website gets traffic, if there is good content on it, either an article, review or a video skin, it should convert if you can comfort people in their purchase decision.
Hope that helps you a bit, the more you do what works for you, the more it works. In other words, duplicate your success and you’ll double your income, and triple, and so on…

I also saw the video skinning training for free before he took it down. I found some great free resources other than the free trial video software he recommended, you may be interested in. Here’s my problem. I cannot find my notes on the video conversion site he used to convert the video to the code you can paste into a website. Do you know what this is or do you recommend something? The software lets me convert the file to any file type i choose but i need the next step. I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me on this.

Hi Tony,
The site he uses to upload and make a player with the video is audioacrobat.com, whan you’re there you can upload your video and choose the style of your player, the buttons you want or not. Here are the settings :
In the player style he chooses : “Simple Video Player with popup play” (so people can not fast forward the video)
In the additional features he chooses : Autoplay on Load : YES, all other options NO
You can then generate the HTML code to put on your site.

One thing I’ve also searched online for is the code to make the email form “appear” after the video is at the end.
Some people cannot figure out how to put a /go after the url to take the next step. (I wonder if these people convert well?)

I think it can be done with Camtasia in the Flash control, so I guess here you may ask to the guys at audioacrobat how to do it. I’m sorry to not being able to help you here.
